Employed by Capel Manor College architect to restore the fire-damaged barns at Forty Hall Farm. We had to keep all usable materials and features from the original barns and remove all the fire damaged debris and bricks off site. Because of the state that some of the barns were in we constructed new wooden structures to support the barns. Using as many of the original bricks and timbers as possible we restored the barns to their original glory, installing electrics and lighting with interior and external painting and decorating.

We were asked by Edmonton County School to replace the old windows to one of the school blocks, replacing single-glazed metal framed windows to new double glazed PVC-u windows. To access each window we used scissors lifts and power accessing machines. Once the windows were installed we fitted solar reflective film to all the windows. The school was so pleased with the outcome of the project that our company was instructed to carry out renewing the windows on phase two of the buildings. Looking forward to being instructed on phase three of the window programme.

Having previously worked for Edmonton County School they came to us wanting to create a new sixth form area for their students. Working with the school we were able to design and create this retro styled American diner where the students are able to study, sit and relax, and make drinks & refreshments. The project was a complete refurbishment including a new kitchen with an instant hot tap, new natural wood flooring, painting, decorating, fittings and seating booths in the American style.

Broxbourne Housing Associations needed an extension and conversion for one of their residents who has a disabled child. The plan was to extend the back and the side of the house to create easy access and more room for their disabled child. We created a ground floor bedroom with wet room bathing facilities, new kitchen, dining room, ramp accesses to front and side elevations with remote controlled door access equipment. New windows and doors were installed, gas, heat and electrics were installed and all rooms painted and decorated.

Instructed by client's architect to extend the rear side of the house, this made the room larger for an open planned kitchen and dining room. We structurally supported the first floor rear edition and removed all ground floor walls. New structural beams were manufactured and installed. New foundations and brick work to match existing was built extending the rear edition out to the flank wall. New tiled roof with velux windows and new folding aluminium doors were installed. Painted and decorated, laundry room added and new kitchen units and appliances fitted.

Prior to starting number 14 Highworth Road, we negotiated a price to build an identical extension to their neighbour's property at the same time. This included a new kitchen and dining room area with a separate utility room. Slightly different design as you will see from the photographs. Both projects were completed within programme.
